Community Ventures Society (CVS) was founded in 1978 to provide support and services to people with disabilities and their families. For over 40 years, we have been helping people actively participate in a full range of community life through innovative programs – including adult day programs, children’s respite services, as well as facilitating specialized housing arrangements through our Shared Living, Adult Residential & Homes Programs. We continue to lead the way in facilitating self-advocacy throughout our communities.
We invite you to take a look at the timeline of our history and some photos of our beginnings.
